  • Naming new Lightspeed products and features
  • Helping to develop new processes, tools and trainings, auditing existing content and coaching junior team members
  • Staying up to date on brand, copywriting and UX news and trends and sharing insights and inspiration with the team

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • 2-3 years of copywriting, journalism or communications experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Comfort working to deadline in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong conceptual understanding of copy and how it drives strategic thinking
  • Ability to write compelling and persuasive content for all channels, with a sense of humor and a love of bold taglines
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, from sales to product to support
  • Strong empathy for merchants and a passion for storytelling
  • Outstanding editing and project management skills with a crazy attention to detail
  • A resourceful, innovative mindset with a bias to action

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience managing freelancers and/or a team
  • Experience working in the retail, hospitality or golf industry
  • Fluency in one or more of our global languages (French, German, Dutch)
  • Experience with Wordpress or other content management systems
  • Interest or experience in UX writing
